The low pass percentage in DGCA AME examinations should not be viewed simply as a reflection of the difficulty of the syllabus. In many cases, the real challenge lies in the way students prepare for the examination. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering requires much more than memorising definitions, regulation numbers, formulas, or technical terminology. It requires a structured understanding of concepts and the ability to apply knowledge in realistic aviation maintenance situations.
